         Topeka, Kan. – The National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) has recognized Washburn University senior Paul Mismaque as the Outstanding Peer Education Student for 2018-2019.          A new partnership with the Kansas Air National Guard will serve to enhance training opportunities at a trauma-scenario simulation to be staged beginning at 8:30 a.m., April 10 at Washburn University Institute of Technology (Washburn Tech).          Topeka, Kan. – Washburn University history lecturer Charles Anthony Silvestri will perform readings from his recently published book of lyric poetry, “A Silver Thread.” Silvestri’s reading and meet and greet is this Wednesday, April 3 at noon in the Ichabod Shop, located in the lower level of Memorial Union on Washburn’s campus.
