    Washburn University students will kick off national Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week on Monday, Nov. 17 by opening an on-campus food pantry.     Washburn University students faculty and staff collected 14,000 cans for three local hunger-relief efforts in the annual Can Emporia food drive competition.
