Thirty-six Washburn University students recently were inducted into Phi
Kappa Phi national honor society.
Those elected to membership include juniors in the top 7.5 percent of
their class and seniors in the top 10 percent of their class, along with
outstanding graduate students, faculty, professional staff and alumni.

Washburn University is issuing an open call for artists who want to
participate in Ichabods Around Town – a public display of reproductions
of the famous Washburn Ichabod. The 5 ½ foot reproductions will be
decorated by painters, artists and other creative individuals in a
variety of themes and placed at host sites around Topeka. The sponsors
will select the design they want to host.
