The 2015 Kansas Silent Film Festival is returning on Friday, February 27
from 7-10 p.m. and continues Saturday, February 28 from 9 a.m. to 10
p.m. (with breaks for lunch and dinner). The festival venue is White
Concert Hall on the Washburn University campus in Topeka, Kansas. The

Julene BairTOPEKA – “Our Fateful Journey Down the Ogallala Road,” will
be discussed by Julene Bair, whose Kansas memoir, The Ogallala Road,
explores the implications of draining the Ogallala Aquifer at the Kansas
Day Presentation at 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29 at the Mulvane Art Museum,
Washburn University. The event is free and open to the public. Bair will
answer questions and sign copies of her memoir following the
