Volleyball Watch Party

Watch the Ichabods in the NCAA Elite Eight on Thursday, Nov. 29! Washburn has partnered with the The Pennant in downtown Topeka to stream the live broadcast of the volleyball game starting at 6:30 p.m. See more information, including gameday food and drink specials, here: bit.ly/bodswatchparty.

Washburn volleyball plays Wingate on Thursday starting at 6:30 p.m.in Pittsburgh, Penn. as part of the Elite Eight of the Division II Volleyball National Championship.

The Washburn Percussion Ensemble will be performing their holiday show in White Concert Hall.

Bell Tower Holiday Lighting Event to be rescheduled

Due to technical issues with the lighting system on the Kuhne Bell Tower, Thursday’s lighting ceremony has been postponed.  The ceremony marks the official start of the Toys for Tots campaign at Washburn as well as the start of the holiday season.  The system should be repaired shortly and we will reschedule as soon as possible.

Theatre Student Showcase

Join Washburn's theatre department for their end-of-semester student showcase! Student performances will include dance, voice, and acting. The showcase is Friday, Dec. 7 at 3 p.m. in the Neese Gray Theatre in Garvey. Light refreshments will be available for attendees. The showcase is free and open to the public.

Operation Fleece Navidad

The Kinesiology Department is holding their 6th annual Operation Fleece Navidad winter clothing drive to collect gently used outerwear. Items gratefully accepted include jackets, hoodies, sweatpants, coats, hats, scarves, gloves and socks. Donations go to men, women and children at the Topeka Rescue Mission. Nearly 2,000 items have been donated in the last five years. Donations can be brought to the donation box outside the kinesiology department in Petro Center 201, or you can email kines@washburn.edu to make arrangements to pick up your donation elsewhere on campus.
