See creativity at its best at the annual art fair at Washburn University’s Mulvane Art Museum on June 1 and June 2, 2019. More than eighty artists from across the country will offer paintings, drawings, prints, photography and jewelry along with works in fiber, glass, wood, bronze, steel, ceramics and textiles. The Fair will also feature hands-on art activities for families in the ArtLab Tent.
The hours for the Mulvane Art Fair will be 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 1 and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 2. Admission to the fair is $6 at the gate with a weekend pass available for $10. Children 12 and under will be free.
The Art Fair is also a place to eat, drink and be merry according to organizers. There will be food from Tod’s BBQ, Southern Star Café and Noble House Hawaiian. The Art Fair will also feature a beer garden with local craft selections and musical entertainment organized by the Topeka Blues Society. The music program will offer some of the best sounds from Kansas, Nashville, and the West Coast.
The Mulvane Art Fair is an annual event organized by the Friends of the Mulvane Art Museum as way to engage the community through art, music and family fun. Proceeds from the Art Fair are raised in support of the Mulvane Art Museum.

The Mulvane Art Museum is open Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; on Wednesday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.. The museum is closed on Sunday & Monday. The museum is free and open to the public. The Mulvane Art Museum is located at 17th and Jewell Streets on the campus of Washburn University.
