Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 1 for the annual Lincoln Harman Lecture. The lecture will take place on Feb. 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center. It is free and open to the public. This year's lecturer is Don H. Doyle, a professor history at the University of South Carolina. Doyle is the author of several books about the Civil War era, including "The Cause of All Nations: An International History of the American Civil War." In the Lincoln Harman Lecture, Doyle will discuss the world's response to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and how this helped spark an international resurgence of republicanism and emancipation.
