Noted percussionist Jeff Hamilton taught a captive audience of more than
40 at a Master Class offered Wednesday as part of the 10th annual
Washburn University Total Percussion Camp.

The Washburn Board of Regents on Thursday approved the hiring of HTK/KWK
of Topeka. The firm will prepare architectural drawings for a new
350-bed student housing and dining facility to be built on the east side
of campus. That is about 50 beds smaller than the Living Learning Center.
