    Washburn University students will kick off national Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week on Monday, Nov. 17 by opening an on-campus food pantry.     Assist area children and their families in need during the holidays by donating to the 10th Annual Giving Tree Project from Friday, Nov. 7 through noon Friday, Dec. 5 at locations on or near the Washburn University campus.
