         Topeka, Kan. – Washburn University student Katelynn Robinson was one of three students recognized at honorary society Kappa Mu Epsilon’s national student research competition at their national conference April 6-8. Robinson, an actuarial science major, was one of ten students selected to give an oral presentation of her submitted research.          Topeka, Kan. – Washburn University’s dance team, the Dancing Blues, won the national championship in the American Dance/Drill Team National Championships competition. They won the open category with a contemporary dance.     In addition to their national championship win, the Dancing Blues were the first runner up in the Hip Hop category.          Topeka, Kan. – Washburn University’s debate squad continued its dominant performance in national competitions. Washburn debate teams took home first and second place at the inaugural National Round Robin of Parliamentary Debate hosted by William Jewell. The tournament included 26 teams from 13 universities.     Washburn University Students with Supplies
         Topeka, Kan. – Washburn University students delivered 20 bins of school supplies to Eisenhower Middle School Tuesday, Dec. 6. Notes from 80 Washburn students to the Eisenhower students accompanied the supplies.
