         Nearly 90 artists from 13 states have been selected to exhibit in the 24th annual Mulvane Art Fair scheduled for June 4 & 5 on the campus of Washburn University in Topeka.  Artists will display and sell paintings, drawings, prints, photography, jewelry and work in fiber, glass, wood, bronze, steel, ceramics and textiles.     The event will be open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday.     WHAT: Washburn University’s Campus Activities Board will be hosting at Easter Egg hunt on Saturday.  The hunt is free and open to the public.  There will be eggs, candy, prizes and more.     Up to seven $1,500 prizes offered for winners

         Washburn University is issuing a call for entries for its 21st annual outdoor sculpture competition.  The prize for those sculptures selected for display is $1,500.     A professional selection committee will choose up to seven sculptures to be displayed on the campus of Washburn University in a year-long exhibition.  Previous winners have come from throughout the Midwest, around the country and from a variety of other countries.  more...
