         Topeka, Kan. – Washburn University’s dance team, the Dancing Blues, won a national championship in the American Dance/Drill Team National Championships competition. They won the championship in the hip hop category and placed third overall in Division II and third in the open category.                Topeka, Kan. – The Washburn University debate team beat out teams from 45 schools from across the country to claim the 25th annual National Parliamentary Debate Association (NPDA) national champion title.
