         The Washburn University Leadership Institute will host a record-number 36 high school and college teams for the 2018 Leadership Challenge EventTM (LCETM) April 5 and 6.     WHAT: Sam Brinton will speak on “Ending Conversion Therapy,” concerning legislative efforts to end the practice of gay conversion therapy for minors. Brinton is the head of advocacy and government affairs at The Trevor Project, which aims to provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBTQ youth.
