         Washburn University Institute of Technology (Washburn Tech) will thank our veterans by hosting a patriotic ceremony at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, in the Conference Center at 5724 SW Huntoon St. The Veterans Day event will feature the talents of many Washburn Tech students as they honor those who have served our country.          The Knockout Round of the Washburn Pitch Competition was held at Washburn University on October 6. More than 100 student entrepreneurs participated from Washburn University and Washburn Institute of Technology (Washburn Tech), representing 69 teams.
