Washburn University Career Services Director Awarded State-Wide Honor

     Topeka, Kan. – Kent McAnally, career services director at Washburn University, was awarded the Larry Hannah Career Services Director Award by the Kansas Association of Colleges and Employers (KACE). This award is given annually to one career services professional at the director level who has made outstanding contributions to KACE and exemplifies excellence in leadership and mentorship within their director role.

     The Larry Hannah Award is the third award for which McAnally has been recognized by KACE for outstanding work in his field. McAnally has been the director of career services at Washburn since 2006. The career services department at Washburn exists to help students develop lifelong skills, techniques, and resources for career development.
