Media Advisory: Washburn University Criminal Justice Association to Show 9/11 Documentary “102 Minutes” Sept. 14

WHAT: The Washburn University Criminal Justice Association will show the 9/11 documentary “102 Minutes.” After the movie, local veterans will relate how this day affected their lives and service.

WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m.

WHERE: Henderson, Room 100, Washburn University campus

WHO: Washburn University students, faculty, staff, and the public are welcome

DETAILS: Where were you on 9/11/2001? Chances are traditional Washburn University students are too young to remember but many people know exactly where they were. The events of that day continue to affect the political climate of the United States and the entire world. Come find out more about not only what happened on that day but also how it has affected veterans in the United States Military. Attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item to be donated to Bods Feeding Bods, the foodbank located on the Washburn University campus.
