Media Advisory: Undergraduate Research Day at the Capital

WHAT: Undergraduate Research Day at the Capital is a chance for undergraduate students across the state of Kansas to showcase their research. Five Washburn University students are participating in the event, which includes all of the Kansas Board of Regents schools.

WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 14, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

WHERE: Capital Building Rotunda, SW 8th & SW Van Buren, Topeka, KS 66612

WHO: Students from Washburn University and Kansas Board of Regents schools

VISUALS: Students with research presentations, capital building

DETAILS: The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the award of medals to this year’s chosen presentations.  The students will be with their displays from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. to explain their work. The event is free and open to the public. The host school rotates each year; Pittsburgh State University is hosting the event this year.
