Media Advisory: Helping Hands Humane Society to Bring Adoptable Pets to Washburn University

WHAT: The Helping Hands Humane Society is bringing dogs and cats to Washburn University. Students can take a break from studying for finals to spend time with the animals.

WHEN: Friday, December 9, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

WHERE: Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Washburn University campus

WHO: Washburn University students, Helping Hands Humane Society employees and volunteers

VISUALS: Washburn University students with dogs and cats

DETAILS: Spending time with pets is proven to cut down on stress, so the Helping Hands Humane Society is bringing some of their dogs and cats to Washburn for students to spend time with before finals week. Students can pet and play with the animals, as well as learn about volunteer opportunities with HHHS.
