Kids, tired of the ordinary, are having a blast at Washburn Tech’s Summer Camp. It’s designed to excite and inspire young minds as they explore their interests and even consider future career opportunities.
Washburn Tech is hosting three different sessions in the month of June that provide hands-on activities using high-tech equipment. Designed for teens and pre-teens, the camp finds innovative ways to teach kids about careers in the areas of construction, health care, human services, technology, and transportation. One day, campers may use their hands to build a project or fix a car. The next day, they might learn how to take someone’s blood pressure or create graphics. There’s always a new and exciting challenge!
Camp sessions run June3-6 and June 10-13 for seventh and eighth graders and then June 17-20 for ninth and tenth graders. Great photo opportunities are available. To set-up a time, call the Washburn Tech Marketing Department at 228-1299.
